He was motivated to pick up the guitar and has learned to play it by ear. Unfortunately, he's now in jail - which makes us very sad - but I decided to try your method to learn the banjo so that when he gets out, we might be able to play together (him on guitar, me on banjo) . . . he'll be home sometime in March.
