JamShop Video

I’m proud of this video of the JamShop on many levels. On the surface, it’s because I filmed and edited it all myself, and I’m real happy with how it turned out.

But there’s more to it… see, I was there at the very beginning with most of these people, as they picked up their instrument for the first time not long ago (in 2008 for five of them) and began learning music through our method.

I can’t take credit for their music, because I just got them started and gave them some “tools”; they were the ones who followed through with it and started making their *own* music. But that makes it all the more rewarding. And it’s so encouraging to see this small, successful example of what we’re trying to create…now in an entertaining, 3:38 minute package! :-)

And Santa Cruz is just the beginning…
