I can see my White House from here!

I am happy Barack Obama got elected. It is a momentous time. This did not come over night. As intelligent, capable and steadfast as he is, he couldn’t have been elected some years ago because of his race. Now things have changed.

I keep hearing “Now, anyone can be president”. In 2007 our numbers were 301,139,947 in America. If anyone can be president, the White House would need some major renovation to fit all of us. And if we were all there who would we govern? And who would get dibs on Camp David for the week-end? Just a thought, an image if you will.

    Some folks have a hard time seeing the forest for the trees. Some are blinded by political ideology, others by religious ideology, or ignorance, or ___(you name it)___.

    As to Barack Obama being elected president, this is an event of historic proportions as people around the world, and even most of his political opponents here in the USA, readily acknowledge.

    As to being “manipulative”, just what do you suppose is the core tool of politics if not “manipulation”? Ironically, even in his reply, Andrew couldn’t help being a tad “manipulative”, nor can I as I write my reply. The only difference may be that I admit it.

    uh...i got it. i was thinking that when you guys move in you should dissolve Congress, name yourselves King and Queen with Kyle and Luke as Princes of the Realm. You'll need all the extra rooms for the wild parties that Princes are known to enjoy!
