I found your music site recently, ordered Get Started Plus (which arrived today! woo hoo!), and have been going backwards through your blog when I have some free time. <br><br>This post made me think of a festival that you all might really enjoy. It's called the West Virginia State Folk Festival (<a href="http://www.wvfolkfestival.org/" rel="nofollow">http://www.wvfolkfestival.org/</a>) and it is held every year in the town I grew up in. It's smack dab in the middle of WV, so it's surrounded by hilly beauty, and it attracts all sorts of people. There are many scheduled jams (among other heritage related events), but many more impromtu jams. My Dad has been attending and playing since before I was born.
