Ich bin stolz, meinen Namen mit Luke und seinem erstaunlichen Geigenspielen verbunden zu lassen. Diese Geige gehört offensichtlich immer Ihnen! – Russell von New York
(I am proud to have my name associated with Luke and his marvelous fiddle playing. This fiddle has obviously always belonged to you! -Russell from New York)
Hey Russell! I just learned some German. Great to hear from you! Thank you again for the fiddle. As you can see, Luke enjoys it very much. I never knew that von means from so… signing off Leslie von Santa Cruz. Cheers!
I wanted to comment about Luke’s version of Angeline the Baker. I’ve been trying to get that oldtimey bowing down for a while, and just have not found the right resources for learning how to do it. I’m hoping I can pick it up from the video if I watch it enough. Great bowing.
