Pineapples are not fruit

When did Pineapples ever enter the fruit family? They are the last fruit I’d expect to see in a fruit salad (besides tomatoes). I’ve had them so much in stir-frys that pineapples have become vegetables in my mind.

Really? I’ve had pineapple in many fruit salads, so I’d argue for avocado as the most unfruitish fruit (although most people don’t really consider that a fruit in the first place). Also, in defense of pineapples, they are pretty sweet and tart (another common fruit trait). Just my thoughts.

I couldn’t agree with you more. What next? Will Kyle say that a strawberry is a meat?
